Null sink device description is not displayed on the "Recording" tab in pavucontrol

After using the following commands to create a mixer to add a soundboard to a mic input using pulseaudio, I notice that the "device description" is displayed correctly in each tab, but in the "Recording" tab it just shows "Null Output" for each device.

pactl load-module module-loopback sink="MIXER"
pactl load-module module-loopback sink="MIXER"

As you can imagine, it makes it hard to work out what's going on when devices all have the same name!

Note that the device description is shown correctly in all other tabs.
