The sliders of Pavucontrol will dimension itselves when try to adjust volume.
This don't happen in sound-settings.
The problem is due to the positions used by the numbers (one, two or three ciphers).
I think that could be better to fix the slider dimension, not depending on the larger of the numbers, avoiding so unexpected behavior in user experience.
See attached screencast how the sliders moves when the numbers became three or two ciphers.
