Hi,

I suspect the problem comes from the version of tcl called by /usr/bin/tclsh.

Can you do a "ls -l /usr/bin/tclsh" ?

I think the symlink was not updated to tcl 8.6 when you upgraded Ubuntu, somewhere along the way.

Hello here , as requested the itclouptut
After the update to 18.04 tclsh8.6 was installed but password-gorilla complaint about the version. It requested 8.5, I have installed tclsh8.5 to satisfy the requirement still no luck

ls -l /usr/bin/tclsh
