partman-lvm isn't well integrated and can cause confusion

manual partitioning
create partion 1 set to be lvm
configure lvm, name the vg & vs's.
get told that we don't support lvm
go and change the partition 1's 'use' to be 'format' as 'ext3'.
now you cannot delete the lvm volume group or virtual volume.

I don't mark bugs with triage spam. The packages in Lucid (and Maverick for that matter) are updated. Asking reporter to check this is not spam, it's progress.
