Attemping to install xubuntu 14.10 beta 1 by eraising 13.10 and new install

initially tried to install along side xubuntu 13.10 but the gparted auto resize failed.. went onto try the erase and install which crashed

It looks like you tried to shrink the volume smaller than the minimum possible size, so it aborted. Partman shouldn't allow you to try to do that. I'm guessing there is something wrong with it's logic in determining the minimum allowed size.
