Bug Description

I used the netinstaller from

http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/lucid/main/installer-i386/current/images/netboot/netboot.tar.gz

Date of the file was 23-Feb-2010 23:03

When setting up an encrypted partition as swap manually (using the "Configure encrypted volumes" menu, aes128, random password) the partitioner will say (when doing "Finish partitioning and write changes to disk") that "The attempt to mount a file system with type swap in Encrypted volume (sda3_crypt) at none failed" ... If you manually do "mkswap /dev/sda3_crypt" on a terminal after that error message and do "Finish partitioning" it will succeed. If you do mkswap BEFORE you have seen the error message for the first time, "Finish partitioning" will fail.

Confirmed using the advanced installer for lucid beta.
except that typing:
mkswap /dev/mapper/sda3_crypt
was the workaround

also, just a random usability comment: if you want to encrypt some volumes, or if you already have some encrypted volumes that you want to mount, then it is not clear what you should do. If I have an already encrypted volume, then I was worried that by selecting it to be encrypted, it would re-encrypt and my data would be lost.
