RELEASE: Lucid Lynx.1
CD/DVD VARIANT: 64bit Ubuntu Desktop CD
ISO BUILD: 2010-08-16.1
SYMPTOMS:
when installing using the Guided, resize partition option with two hard drives, the installer will automatically choose the drive to install to. There is no choice to choose the drive.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Install any operating system on each of two hard drives installed in a machine.
2. When performing a third installation, choose the partition option: Guided, resize
3. There will be no choice given as to which drive to install on at this time. You may only install side-by-side on the default drive given.
WORKAROUND:
Use Manual partitioning to choose the hard drive to install on and partition it manually.
