I have the same problem when starting the X, the window borders are not shown. I have to launch compiz - replace manually to function more or less well. But then I do not load nautilus, only if I throw loads from terminal

This bug appears to only appear when xpra is installed.

Can anyone confirm that? Perhaps it needs to be moved?

Pretty sure this is not the same bug Crashbit. metacity is started up in place of compiz with no problems.

The bugs above occur with Intel video but the symptoms seem to be the same...

I think I have this bug on 9.10 after both an upgrade and a fresh install on my system which uses an ATI 9600XT graphics card.

I had no problems using Compiz on 9.04. Interestingly, when I boot my system from the 9.10 CD, Visual Effects do not work, however when I boot from an earlier 9.10 alpha CD they work fine - so I guess this can be considered a regression?
