Bug Description
Trying to install feisty on a Dell inpiron 6400 laptop.
Edgy eft installs and runs fine.
When prompted for disk partitioning, the installer only sees my laptop disk with no partitions... so either i wipe out all the data on my disk since i have to rewrite my partition table, or I give up installing Feisty Fawn :-(
I have no problems reading the partitions... i partitioned the disk while installing windows XP sp2 a month ago... then installed edgy eft (which detected the existing partitions just fine) and made a few extra partitions for linux with the EE installer.

Same problem here. See this post : http:// ubuntuforums. org/showthread. php?t=416800 and this post http:// ubuntuforums. org/showthread. php?t=415274. All problems reported are on the same computer (sadly the same that suffers from the ATI x1400 bug also), and had previous installs of Edgy.
