Reporter: is it possible for you to attach the file you were opening in gedit by any chance? Thanks.

Thank you for you assistance and interest to this problem.

I'm not able to attach file I have been opening in GEdit as this file
contains not my personal data. It is backup of all contacts, messages,
todo-lists, calendars from other persons mobile phone saved by wammu
software. I checked and found that it opened without any problems in McEdit,
in Cat output, in Windows Notepad.

So, please sorry. But anyway, I want to do my best to help you solve this
problem.
