Bug Description

Binary package hint: pan

Unread articles that are ignored, for example after selecting Articles > Ignore Thread, are still included in the number of unread articles for that group.

The expected behavior would be that these articles are not counted, and that a group in which all unread articles are ignored is not highlighted in the group pane.

The way it is now, you have to manually select "Mark group read" each time you have read all articles of a group, just because there are unread but ignored articles left, even if they are not displayed in the header pane and pressing the next-unread-article-key has no effect. This is annoying for highly frequented newsgroups that you check for new articles a lot, but have some threads ignored.

Using pan 0.132-3.1ubuntu1 on Intrepid.
