Bug Description
Ubuntu 8.10 without any updates (the system was installed from the requested free CD)
The following mistake in gnome-terminal:
python@
Changing password for python.
(current) UNIX password:
Enter new UNIX password:
Retype new UNIX password:
Sorry, passwords do not match
passwd: password updated successfully
When I want to change my password (python user), I intentionally retype the wrong password. Gnome-terminal tells me "Sorry, passwords do not match" (the password really mismatch). But the next line surprises me - passwd: password updated successfully. BUT REALLY PASSWORD WAS NOT UPDATED SUCCESSFULLY!!
