Bug Description

Binary package hint: padre

I try to start padre, the Splashscreen appears and then it close immediatly.

Starting in Shell give this Result:

riot@trinity:~$ padre
Segmentation fault

Running on Ubuntu 10.10 64 Bit

riot@trinity:~$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 10.10
Release: 10.10
Codename: maverick

riot@trinity:~$ uname -a

Hi Martin, can you check the output of the following?

perl -MWx -e'Wx::SearchCtrl->new->SetDescriptiveText("foo");'

Your problem may be related to bug 485012.

perl: relocation error: /usr/lib/perl5/auto/Wx/Wx.so: symbol _ZN12wxSearchCtrl18SetDescriptiveTextERK8wxString, version WXU_2.8 not defined in file libwx_gtk2u_core-2.8.so.0 with link time reference
