Bug Description

Binary package hint: padevchooser

This is an annoying problem starting after I upgraded my xubuntu from 10.10 to 11.04.

My rear mic stop working every time I reboot my machine. After checking on a number of things, I realize that the input source is set to "Line" instead of "Rear Mic". I noticed this from xfce mixer, but I suspected this is caused by Pulse Audio Device Chooser.

Please take a look, and let me know if you need any additional tests to nail down the problem. thanks
