Bug Description

Binary package hint: kpackagekit

On installing software updates, kpackage kit shows dialog indicating that an internal system error has occured. Clicking in details tells me "The backend process took too much time to process the synchronous request -- you need to fork!".

lsb_release -a:
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 9.04
Release: 9.04
Codename: jaunty

kpackagekit version: 0.4-0ubuntu8

Steps to reproduce:
1. Wait for software updates to become available.
2. Click on "software updates available" icon in system tray.
3. Click on "apply all available updates".
4. After all changes are committed, dialog pops up saying "Internal system error has occured".
5. Click on "details"
