Bug Description

Binary package hint: packagekit-gnome

The example code referenced in the PackageKit FAQ does not work:
http://www.packagekit.org/pk-faq.html#session-methods

It raises this exception:
dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.PackageKit was not provided by any .service files

This bug can be fixed by providing a .service file in /usr/share/dbus-1/services/, named org.freedesktop.PackageKit.service, with the following contents:

[D-BUS Service]
Name=org.freedesktop.PackageKit
Exec=/usr/bin/gpk-dbus-service
