There seems to be other problems when building with new binutils, thus waiting for the next version in Debian seems to be wise.

I just uploaded

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pacemaker/1.1.18~rc3-1ubuntu1

which has the fix from Debian for the corresponding bug (I'm not sure why the Debian bug hasn't been closed).

I'm not sure if it's worth SRU'ing it or not. I suppose to artful-proposed, at least, it is, since the uploaded version is broken there. I'll see if I can do that shortly.
