2013-04-22 17:45:25 Jeremy Bícha description I get black boxes with gtk programs like glade and dconf-editor. See attached screenshot. I use gnome-shell. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.04 Package: gnome-themes-standard 3.6.2-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.8.0-1.5-generic 3.8.0-rc4 Uname: Linux 3.8.0-1-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.8-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sun Jan 20 17:54:12 2013 InstallationDate: Installed on 2013-01-01 (18 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" - Release amd64 (20121017.5) MarkForUpload: True SourcePackage: gnome-themes-standard UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to raring on 2013-01-01 (18 days ago) 1. Install gnome-themes-standard and overlay-scrollbar. Make sure ubuntu-gnome-default-settings is not installed since we disabled the overlay scrollbar for 13.04 to work around this bug. 2. Change the default theme to Adwaita. (You can do this by running XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=Unity gnome-control-center unity-appearance) 3. Log out and back in just to make sure that the overlay scrollbar is loaded. 4. Run Gedit. 5. Click the New Document button to open a second document. What happens ============ The background for the tab bar turns black. Original bug report =================== I get black boxes with gtk programs like glade and dconf-editor. See attached screenshot.
