Bug Description

Binary package hint: otrs2

Was doing a basic test on this application to see if it was suitable for our ticket system purposes.

Installed with recommends from command line on latest Desktop Lucid 32 bit build running in a virtualbox virtual machine. Seems to have installed fine as I can access it via a browser and play around.

Just flagging in case it's more serious for other users.

Do you have postgresql installed locally ?

Correct, it installed with otrs on the same virtual machine.

Seems it set-up postgres ok though as I'm able to access and play around with the otrs interface fine with no errors. Very minimal testing done, was just a quick look and see.

It seems that it occurs when otrs2 installed postgresql as a dependency. otrs is configured before postgresql is installed.
I've not been able to reproduce. But if you're able to reproduce the failure could you please provide the detailed steps ?

You need to completely purge postgresql and might remove the posgres user manually because it is a first time installation failure.
Thanks in advance.

There is no support on such deprecated version; that one has died long time ago.
