Bug Description

Hi,

is there any plan to release binary packages for last OSSIM release 1.8.X?

I found some discussions on this subject but from last year I think. Working in the development of the ORFEO ToolBox which integrate OSSIM, it could be really nice to package this version. Moreover, OSSIM use now cmake for compilation. It must facilitate to compile and provide this package.

I (or other OTB Dev team members) willl be happy to help you to make this happen.

Best regards,

Manuel

Thanks for reporting this issue and making Ubuntu better!

I attached a bug watch to a bug in Debian requesting a newer version of powertop. Since Ubuntu is based on Debian, a newer version of a package in Debian will also appear in Ubuntu after a while.

Ossim 1.8.16-2 is now available in Utopic, so I'm marking this as fixed.

If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please follow the instructions for "Requesting a Backport" at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuBackports#Requesting_a_Backport
