Bug Description

-Distro: Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid)
-Regular upgrades brought this error, I had no idea what oss4 even was
-Every time an upgrade occurs, synaptic submits a crash detection

The last few days I've lost sound and coicidently was receiving this error whenever synaptic wanted to give regular upgrades. I don't what caused it but I always found oss4-dkms involved. I never knew what it was but it just appeared. I tried installing this package in hopes that things might work but to no avail. I don't ever recall using anything that required oss4, that's the weird part.

Thanks
