Bug Description
THIS IS A DUPLICATE BUG REPORT!
But it covers all previous bug reports related to this topic.
Grub2 uses grub-mkconfig script to generate grub.cfg file.
This script uses linux-boot-prober to identify boot options.
If there is Legacy GRUB installed on the probed partition linux-boot-prober returns INCORRECT (for GRUB2) device (hdX,Y).
And there is a problem.
I don't know what SHOULD return linux-boot-prober, but I see 2 solutions:
1) to fix /etc/grub.
or
2) to fix linux-boot-prober source code if it should return GRUB2-compilant string
I suppose the first is correct.
