Bug Description
Binary package hint: os-prober
Hi,
I just did a full-upgrade on my Karmic system and as part of this got new versions of memtest86+, linux and grub-pc. As far as I can see (term.log attached), each of these caused os-prober to be run. This is a time-consuming process (~30 seconds) so perhaps it is worthwhile considering using a dpkg trigger to ensure it is run as few times as possible?
