While they may have occurred while upradeing ubuntustudio-lowlatency-settings, the key is here:

device-mapper: reload ioctl on osprober-linux-sda4 failed: Device or resource busy
Command failed.

This tells me that it wasn't the package itself that failed, but rather, os-proper or grub failed to open a necessary device during the grub-update command.
