os-prober truncates initrd line, results in kernel panic

Bug Description
With multiple initrd paths (e.g. for intel microcode) os-prober and linux-boot-prober report only the first part, the microcode. The /boot/initrd.img is missing.
A resulting grub.cfg is therefore incomplete and can’t boot the OS.
This issue is known since 2016 but still lurking in 2019:
