I have a laptop with a Windows 7 partition and another Windows restore/recovery partition. Ubuntu 15.04 correctly labels them accordingly in the GRUB menu, but the Ubuntu 15.10 beta just labels them both as Windows 7. |
I have a laptop with a Windows 7 partition and another Windows restore/recovery partition. Ubuntu 15.04 correctly labels them accordingly in the GRUB menu, but the Ubuntu 15.10 beta just labels them both as Windows 7. This is a problem because you have to guess which is for booting into Windows and which is for booting into the recovery environment. It is also a regression that appeared in 15.10. |
