Bug Description

Yet it loudmouthed assured my that if fc3 was the only other operating system
that I have installed on my disk, I could safely allow it to install grub in the
mbr. It didn't copy the kernel line parameters and it didn't copy the initrd
line at all. I had to restore the fc3 grub from the rescue cd.

Thanks. Could I also see the /boot/grub/menu.lst generated by the Ubuntu installer?

Ah, I see; your Fedora grub menu.lst doesn't have 'boot' at the end of each
entry, which os-prober expects. However, grub's documentation says that 'boot'
is implicit at the end of a menu entry.
