2008-12-04 10:16:20 wolfger os-prober: statusexplanation I'm afraid that TerryG's claim that Ubiquity relies on GRUB to enumerate other operating systems is entirely mistaken. It does not. It relies on GRUB to *boot* them, but detection is done via a completely separate component called os-prober. Could you please attach /var/log/installer/syslog and /var/log/installer/partman to this bug, following the directions in http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity/AttachingLogs? Thanks in advance. Over 4 months with no response. We are closing this bug report because it lacks the information we need to investigate the problem, as described in the previous comments. Please reopen it if you can give us the missing information, and don't hesitate to submit bug reports in the future. To reopen the bug report you can click on the current status, under the Status column, and change the Status back to "New". Thanks again!
