opticalraytracer has icon but is not shown in unity

I am on Ubuntu12.04 64bit updated to 8.7.2012.

opticalraytracer has an icon which is shown after console call in the unity side panel.

The icon should be also visible in unity dash for direct program starting, so that a user has not to make the way through the console.
