So 2.4.6 has the same issues as 2.4.4 - is that what I read in the last update?

Again I'm still puzzled - to confirm - the upstream provided 2.4.6 deb is good on the same system/setup as the one you just had issues with the 2.4.6 you downloaded from Cosmic?
