also possibly this is related: always when i connect i get a Man in the Middle Attack warning

@mubtcez: to use the OpenVPN server's pushed DNS servers, add this to your .conf file:

    script-security 2
    up /etc/openvpn/update-resolv-conf
    down /etc/openvpn/update-resolv-conf

If you want to use your own DNS servers, add the above plus a line for each DNS server:

    dhcp-option DNS 8.8.8.8

Greetings, I realize this is an old bug, but I am attempting to get a current list of active issues that need attention.

I took a look at the old Ask Ubuntu question using the internet archive [1]. Based on the findings there and the suggestion in this bug on using 'dhcp-option' I believe there is not enough information to say this is actually a bug in Ubuntu.

If the original reporter could retry on a currently supported release and get back to us as to if it is still an actual issue, with additional information, then additional triage could occur on the bug report.
