Likely after OpenTTD 1.0.0 has been added to Debian's repository, which can only be done when they fix the problem they got with 'ries.debian.org' (the machine handling adding new versions of packages).

After that someone has to request a sync of OpenTTD and import of OpenGFX and OpenSFX. I've got no idea how that exactly works though.

OpenTTD should go into the release of lucid lynx. It is stable now and with the free OpenGFX, OpenSFX and the OpenMSX packages openttd is now full free software and there is no need anymore to import the original copyrighted graphics and sound files into openttd !

It is a great game wich should implemented in lucid lynx!

Please update it soon. Thank you.

Updating a package so late in the Lucid release cycle is a complicated process. However, if everything turns out ok, openttd 1.0 should be in Lucid very soon. See also bug #556593. I'm closing this bug in favour of that one.
