openswan-modules-dkms 1:2.6.38-1: openswan kernel module failed to build

 I got the above error after restarting the machine during the process of upgrading from Ubuntu 13.04 to 13.10.

Can someone help with the cause of the above problem.

I am experiencing the same issue on 14.04

I can confirm this on 14.04 as well with openswan-modules-dkms 2.6.38 and linux-headers 3.13.0-35-generic

Will try to debug and give fix a later this week.

I'm also affected by this bug. openswan-modules-dkms cannot be built. Logs are attached. Here is the system information:
