Maybe it's a good idea to keep old changelog entries around?

The current Ubuntu's delta has been already applied in Debian. In such cases we do a syncs. Unfortunately, sync cannot be processed for this package as it stays in main and Debian added depends on packages which are in universe. So this will be a new delta. Keeping old changelog entries for changes which are exist no anymore doesn't make sense for me, IMHO.

thanks, sponsored (some don't like to drop old changelog entries, but in practice we could have reach a sync point and diverged again and nobody re-apply old/previous changelog in such cases)

  * debian/control: Drop madison-lite, pristine-tar, libxml-xpath-perl
