Bug Description
openstack-dashboard 2:8.0.1-
As reported by cli cinder client, it is not possible to change the volume_type of an already attached volume:
# cinder retype <volume_id> <new_volume_type>
ERROR: Invalid input received: Retype cannot change front-end qos specs for in-use volume
Horizon, however, does present this option to the cloud consumer, which, if acted upon naturally fails.
This results to poor end user experience and potentially support calls to cloud operators.
Please consider filtering the options in Project > COMPUTE > Volumes > Actions to exclude the 'Change Volume Type' option for attached volumes.
