Hi,
I don't know if it is a fresh installation (Marverick) or an upgrade (Lucid =>Marverick) but if it is an upgrade i have certainly the solution.
When we have created the manual we have used the Gnome denomination (i.e. 2.0.1-4) and when Openshot has been accepted by Debian and Ubuntu, we have must modified it. And the two versions are incompatible between them.
So, you must remove (and with the purge option) the old version who is present in your system and install the new by the same command i.e. sudo apt-get install openshot-doc.
