I can confirm this bug on my system (OOo 2.0.1-0breezy1 from http://people.ubuntu.com/~doko/ and Ubuntu 5.10 "Breezy").
But on another system, with older OOo 2.0.0-0ubuntu1 from http://people.ubuntu.com/~doko/ and Ubuntu 5.10 "Breezy" gallery and fontworks are not empty and works fine...

I've got this bug on my system (dapper current) with OOo-2.0.1-0ubuntu4.
There's no way to use fontwork or the gallery.
I tried to reinstalled and adjust path and nothing worked! Too bad i wanted to create a cute Valentine's card for my girlfriend, using Fontwork... :-(

Nice work ;) I would like to know why the sources of 2.0.1oob680m5 version are in http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/o/openoffice.org/ but not the binaries.

I want to fix this problem for Guadalinex distro (It's breezy based) so i'm going to recompile it.

I'm unsure what you mean by "remove it".

Have a look to the table at the beginning of this page, there are listed three items, i added the second one (the line that is rejected) by mistake.

Sorry again.
