Openoffice fonts aren't blurry enough

Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

I just tried 2.2.0~rc3~oof680m10-0ubuntu2. The fonts are blurrier from the previous version, but definitely not blurry enough to get the point across that one should not use Openoffice but an alternative office suite.

I have attached a screenshot of Openoffice 2.2.0 in action.

No, that doesn't look fine -- that looks like my AA off screenshot. Look at your fonts around the menus, and look closely at your text. It's all jagged and ugly. Changing fonts makes no difference.

The AbiWord screenshot is what looks 'fine'.

Looks fine for me, too. In comparsion with edgy, it is a lot better.

WOW -- Gert -- yours looks phenomenal compared to all the other screenshots. That's the kind of antialiasing I want to see!

I'll try a feisty LiveCD tonight but my current feisty system does not look like what you have.
