Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Fonts in OO look very ugly, like dpi is detected wrong.
I use 96 dpi setting in xorg.conf, kde and gnome and mostly Arial.
It works nice everywere except in OO.
I can set OO to use system fonts or not, both look very ugly.
I can star OO from gnome or from kde with no difference.
Affects UI-font and fonts in dotuments too.
(I use antialiasing only for big fonts in OO)

I created a now user account and logged into gnome.
OO fonts looked normal.
I changed font settings in gnome and OO.
Worked all normal.
Than I logged into kde with the same new user.
OO fonts looked bad.
Than I logged again into gnome.
OO fonts looked normal.
Than in kde again I changed font settings to arial.
Than I logged again into gnome.
Suddenly three nautilus windows appeared, but no icons on desktop.
(where I saved one oocalc-file)
and now OO fonts looked bad here too.

So I guess kde breaks gnome somehow.

BTW I use up to date edgy.

Installed OpenOffice 2.1.0-6 from their DEBs.

Now it looks perfect :)

(but ubuntu-desktop and language-support meta-packages are gone now)

I use full hinting with no Subpixel. Smal fonts are non antialiased.
