2011-03-03 05:32:56 penalvch description Binary package hint: openoffice.org 1) lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS Release: 10.04 2) apt-cache policy openoffice.org-calc openoffice.org-calc: Installed: 1:3.2.0-7ubuntu4.1 Candidate: 1:3.2.0-7ubuntu4.1 Version table: *** 1:3.2.0-7ubuntu4.1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-updates/main Packages 500 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-security/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:3.2.0-7ubuntu4 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages 3) Thank you for reading this. What is expected to happen is when one opens a new spreadsheet, and types in first row, first column: =sqrt(-1) it does not respond with err502 and displays i. 4) What happens instead is that it notes err502. While OOo Calc does very well in computer approximating irrational numbers, it does not deal with the core imaginary unit i=sqrt(-1). The opportunity to click Help -> "Report a Bug" did not exist. openoffice.org does run and just ran ubuntu-bug openoffice.org-calc. If questions exist, please ask.
