[Edgy] OpenOffice.org crashes everytime I try to save

Bug Description
I've been trying to save a document of just plain text, and everytime I go to save, the save document dialog pops up, but so does the Recover File dialog. I filed in the save document fields, but the document never saves.
Note: the original reporter indicated the bug was in package 'openoffice'; however, that package was not published in Ubuntu.

I have two machines with the current Edgy. Both of them display this issue. Furthermore, simply attempting to open a .odt (created with Dapper) also results in a OpenOffice crash.
I can report more details on my setup if necessary...
