Crash Writer on "save" and "save as"

Using edgy version of openoffice 2.0.3 Writer I think. after editing a document click on Save or Save As produces the crash of the application. Afterwards the recovery wizard starts and it works fine. But it's an infinite loop, never saves the document.

I noticed this too, but I Oo crashes if I try to open files as well, other then that same symptoms, after crash recovery wizard starts ...

Also how do I get debugging info from Oo, running from the command line produced no output from the crash and I'm not sure how to run it in gdb.

same on my side, it looks like a problem of handling the file-dialog. For me "open", "save", "save as", "insert -> picture -> from file" and "insert -> file" all crash (I stopped looking after all these crashing).

Can everyone please pull an strace or look in /var/crash for an apport report and attach them please. Thank you for your bug report
