Using Ubuntu-Karmic Openoffice version (3.1.1 = 310m19) 64bits & 32bits
* Impress slide with text rotated 90°
* Export to PPT
* Import in OOo (or PPT) => text is rotated 270°
* This is also true for text within a form
* Import from PPT works as expected
* This works perfectly with OOo from openoffice.org (version 3.1 and 3.2)
* I attached a screenshot with a Impress file (Left) and the converted ppt file (right), both opened in Impress (same result in Powerpoint).
* I did not try go-oo to know if the bug is Ubuntu/Debian specific or in go-oo

3) What is expected to happen is when one performs at the Terminal:
cd ~/Desktop && wget https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/505188/+attachment/1868399/+files/rotations.odp && loimpress -nologo rotations.odp
click File -> Save as -> File type: Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 XML (.pptx) -> Save button -> Keep format button -> close file -> reopen via the Terminal:
loimpress -nologo rotations.pptx
the text is displayed as it was in rotations.odp.
4) What happens instead is that the text in rotations.pptx have been rotated erroneously.
