[upstream] [3.2] Track changes not working for Exel files in Calc

Track changes does not work properly in Calc when files are saved in Excel (.xls) format.

Example:
1. Load Calc.
2. Switch on Record Changes (Edit menu, Changes, Record)
3. Type "test" in A1 (the cell will outline red, and if the cursor is put over it, a message will show "Cell A1 changed from <empty> to "test"")
4. Save As Filetype Microsoft Excel 97/2000/XP
5. Quit
6. Reload document
7. Cell is still outlined red, but message now reads "Cell A1 changed from <empty> to <empty>"

Thanks for the bug report. This is true... It's strange that it knows it was changed, but not what to or from.

This is still an issue in Feisty. It remembers who made the change, but not what to or from.

Remains an issue in gutsy beta. (version 1:2.3.0-1ubuntu2)

It is *not* an issue in stock OOo for windows (i've not checked the stock deb or debian's version - can anyone check?)

Confirmed on upstream's openoffice.org 2.4.0~rc2 (linux).

openoffice.org-calc version 1:3.2.0-4ubuntu2 in current lucid beta works as expected.
