In Ubuntu 9.10 (and earlier), .desktop files for all OpenOffice applications (eg. /usr/share/
But OpenOffice has supported startup notification (with libsn) for some time now, and manually changing that to "StartupNotify=
The OOO310_m19 build either adds "StartupNotify=
OpenOffice is a very big application and can take long to start, so its current lack of startup notifications is particularly noticeable.
