Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org-kde

In Kubuntu, the "save", "save as" and "export" dialogs of OpenOffice have an "Automatic file name extension" AS WELL as an "Automatically select filename extension (.html)". Only one should be needed!

Roman,

Here is another apparently still existing bug in the KDE support as of 1:3.1.1-5ubuntu1 from what the reporter mentioned in the original bug report.

Thanks,

Chris

Bug is still exist in Lucid beta: openoffice.org-kde 1:3.2.0-4ubuntu3 on some situations, for example, when filename contain dots:

How to reproduce:
1. Open Writer, create new file, type something.
2. Press File - Save
3. Type "document_ver_1.2", check that field "Automatic select filename extension (.odt)" is selected.
4. Press Save button.

After that you will see file "document_ver_1.2" file without extension.

If I set the filename without dots (document_ver_1_2), the extension added successfully.
