I'm connect at windows server resource sharing using "Local->connect
server" in Ubuntu Menu bar.
I'm open OpenOffice, click in "File->Open" Menu
In dialog window I click in resource sharing in left pane, in right is
showing the file "xx.odt". I'm clicking in file and open button.
OpenOffice don't load file and don't display errors.

I'm using OpenOffice in Brasilian Portuguese. I don't use openoffice
dialog box (OpenOffice Menu bar. Tools->Option->General). Version of
Openoffice is 2.0.2-2ubuntu5 27apr2005

Sorry my english. :)

Interesting that until receiving the last updates the OpenOffice was
working normally.

I'm looking at the 'GTA%24' part of that path - could you try a path with no spaces or special characters and see if that works, e.g:

smb://s1153040/GTA/Documentos/Memos/teste.odt

Thanks

Don't open. But is I trying open a text file with gedit 2.14.2, the
file open with spaces or special characters. It exclusively seems to be
a problem of the openoffice and not of the file manager.

I think you will find its a problem with GNOME-VFS and OO.o(?), but i'm not really sure.

Apparently it was a problem with the installation of the BrOffice
(Brazilian version of the OpenOffice) that it existed in my machine and
the one that is installed with the Ubuntu. Desistalei both and I
installed only the Broffice and the problems had disappeared.
