Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org-kde

I just upgraded to OpenOffice.org 3.1.1 rc1 in my Kubuntu Karmic amd64 installation, and the KDE4 integration still doesn't work very well. When attempting to open a file using the KDE file picker, nothing happens and no file is opened. Also the KDE4 checkboxes are clipped on the top and bottom.

Same problem here on karmic alpha5 with openoffice.org-kde package installed. If you open a file it doesnt do anything, if you check the unnamed box (see image) it opens the file in read-only mode. Text in sub-menus of file-dialogues are also invisible.

I can confirm the problems with the jaunty packages from the openoffice ppa. The file dialog works, but automatic extensions aren't working and the checkboxes are all clipped, both in the toolbars as in the options menu.

Do you still have this problem with openoffice.org 1:3.1.1-1ubuntu2 in karmic now?
