can't print anything

i use my network printer (Canon S200x) under samba and my server (debian unstable)

when i print a sample with gedit that works perfectly.. but when i want to print a doc (word) with openoffice2, i print a blank page

the cups job 72 is my test (gedit)
the others jobs are under openoffice 2 the document is only 1ko (it was wrong)

If your print the document to a postscript file (File -> Print..., tick Print to file, click OK, select the Desktop as the Save in folder and call it test.ps) can you see if the file that is produced only has empty pages when viewied in evince (which is a postscript viewer)?

i make the test and my test.ps was not empty ... there was my document inside... :-/

Thanks for the report Sylvek, could you provide some more information please?

* What version of Ubuntu are you running?
* What version of the OpenOffice.org and samba packages do you have installed?
* Could you attach a small test .ps file and the document you printed it from?

- i work under an ubuntu dapper preversion (upgrade every nights)
- OpenOffice package : 2.0.2-2ubuntu5
- samba package : 3.0.22-1ubuntu1

presently my printer don't work :-s
my server is under debian unstable and i use guttenprint driver for my Canon S200x under Samban via Cups .. but i can't print a test page under Cups this morning -???-
