openoffice freeze at pdf-export

When I want to export a writer document ooo freeze. And I can only "kill" ooo to close it.

I'm hit by this too.
Any idea of how to further debug? Running 'soffice -writer' from a terminal forks openoffice, so there's no output there.

I have tried to debug this with

LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/usr/lib/openoffice/basis3.0/program/" G_SLICE=always-malloc G_DEBUG=gc-friendly valgrind -v --tool=memcheck --leak-check=full --num-callers=40 --log-file=valgrind.log /usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice.bin Downloads/PM\ 2006-02-15.ppt

and now, there comes the funniest part: It is working in this way (even it is dramatically slow ;-) ). Running it with

LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/usr/lib/openoffice/basis3.0/program/" /usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice.bin Downloads/PM\ 2006-02-15.ppt

it freezes again. So it seems to have timing problems?
